Bribie Island Tigers is a not-for-profit volunteer run organisation. Volunteers are literally the life blood of our organisation. We are currently recruiting volunteers to support our canteen and bar, which are open on Friday evening and Saturday morning, as well as our maintenance and match day operation teams. We guarantee a great deal of fun, the opportunity to use your skills and life experience in an environment where they will be highly valued, and the opportunity to join a Club that is more like an extended family than an organisation.
Many clubs have volunteer rotations or expectations and we have tried similar things in the past but rather than direct you, we rather attempt to inspire you to get involved.
As an incentive for your time Bribie Island Tigers have implemented our new Golden Ticket initiative.
It is simple….
With every hour of your time, you volunteer you will receive a GOLDEN TICKET to go in the running for 3 nights at SeaWorld Resort and entry to SeaWorld, wet & Wild or Movie World for a family of 4. Not only do we have our major prize up for grabs we have a number of other great prizes up for grabs.
Last year with the help of our regular volunteers we were able to run solely on volunteer power which over the last 2 years has seen the removal of our volunteer levy and member benefits such as shorts, and socks included in registration without an increase in cost. We would love to do the same again in 2022 but cannot do it without some help this year.
It really is a great time to be involved with the club and you might be surprised how much fun we have on game days and nights. All volunteers receive a free drink and where they work over 2 hours a free meal.
